THNK1994 collaborated with Brazzers for a dreamy backroom VHS shop that reminded us of discreet stores with names both crystal clear (Dreamers!) and opaque (Blue Door Video!)
The party was filled with absolutely delectable finger foods, very polite doormen, art by Miriam Carothers, and famous, beautiful people like Abella Danger and Lady Bunny. THNK1994 throws parties that are actually fun, a rare commodity in today’s climate. Very Famous will never forget seeing gorgeous, hot porn stars come out on stage to “Be My Lover”!
There was also a video directed by Maya Fuhr that was absolutely perfect in its white-lingerie-Hollywood-motel mood. Nina Hartley and Luna Star teach us about pleasure in “Sex Education” filmed at the famed Hollywood Center Motel. It’s very, very, very sexy! “If anybody ever asks you what to do, fuck back,” Nina Hartley, with a wink.

To Ming, the King Tiger of Harlem! In 2003, he was discovered living inside the Drew Hamilton Houses in Harlem, and the 300-pound tiger was relocated to an animal sanctuary in Ohio. Apparently, Ming preferred life in the big city, at least according to a 2004 New York Post article saying that the famous tiger hadn’t been playing nicely with the other cats.
“I have a picture of the cage, and it’s not nearly as big as my apartment is,” former tiger owner and construction worker Antoine Yates said at the time. “In Harlem, he had five bedrooms, two baths, a kitchen and a living room.”
