We’ve been doing some lite reminiscing on the circa-2005 era of “Confessions of a Shopaholic” decor — hyperfeminine, cupcake-explosion, a poster of the Eiffel Tower in your bedroom, a stiletto-shoe chair. Girls Next Door has that in spades, and we’re spending our weekend with Holly, Bridget (who now has a podcast about ghosts!), and Kendra.
Tamara BasicTease on YouTube is a former stripper, house mom, and seamstress who’s been making lingerie for exotic dancers since the early ’90s. I found her channel while looking for a garter pattern, and I love Tamara and her “sexy sewing patterns” very much!!! She’s been “sewing sexy for 30 years” and now she teaches her patterns for raves, cosplay, pole dancing, etc.

The Bra-Fitter Who Wants You to Dance in Her Shop via The New York Times — Iris Clarke, owner of Iris Lingerie, a small shop inside a dress store in Brooklyn, has been fitting bras for 47 years. “You must get fitted for your brad,” Clarke told the Times. “A bra fitter knows that adjustments are needed and sometimes alterations. That’s what you cannot get online.”
